LATEST UPDATES!

9-Sept-2007:
More synthy wank to melt your brain today: original Parallax song IAPETUS on YOUTUBE!
I've also fixed some broken links over on the PACKRAT comics page; a reader was recently kind enough to let me know that Keyboard Magazine is no
longer hosting them on their site. Hey, it's been two whole years now, I think I can let it slide. :o)

5-Sept-2007: Brand
new today, and hopefully it'll last a while...
DAILY COMICS!. In an effort to get
more folks regularly streaming their asses into umop.com,
I've decided
to give daily comics here a shot. You can even email them to friends
and embed them on your MySpace Pages if you wanna.
These
comics are likely to range wildly, WILDLY, in content, degrees of
lewdness, color or black-and-white, and especially,
in quality. As any artist knows, some days it's just too damned hard
coming up with a funny gag, so I might just decide
to draw a sponge one day, and an epic masterpiece the next. You'll
never know what to expect, so you'd better bookmark
it right here and keep on coming back every day to see!

4-Sept-2007: Follow-up:
Simon Power over at Sonic State
crammed my YouTube video into a nice blurb today... check it out!
He was even nice enough to say that I made Rick Wakeman look "arthritic
in comparison," although Rick can at least
aim better & actually hit the intended keys once and a while.

1-Sept-2007: Watch
in terror, amazement, hysterics, or just a kind of blithe disapproval
while I rip apart
Charlie Daniels' "Devil Went Down to
Georgia" with this blithering, synthily idiotic
new YOUTUBE
VIDEO!
One
billion notes... new record.

31-Aug-2007: After
a super-awesome July filled with near-daily updates, what the
hell happened to August here on umop.com? Well, times have been
insane... I'm finally all set up in my new condo,
the TV pilot thing I mentioned last time is all done (I promise to show
it when/if I ever can),
and now I think it's about time, once and for all, to fill you
in on the whereabouts and "whenabouts" of RETARDED
ANIMAL BABIES 19!
I
have a script completed
as of around midnight last night, with 74 lines of dialog. It's based
on a story concept I developed about a year ago but
hadn't scripted yet. This idea is, in a word, completely screwed-up,
based roughly on a story by my ex-neighbor Eli
who has graciously allowed me to mess around with it. It's also an idea
that probably everyone who's ever been stoned at least once
has had during an induced universal epiphany. I shall say no more.
What
I originally wanted for this episode was some sort of "Back to School"
themed thing, due out this week in time with
the start of the new (American) school year. I have a script (and
storyboard) for that as well, from as far back as two years
ago, but after wracking my brain, re-reading, re-working the damn
thing, I've decided it just wasn't funny enough. This
new script I have instead passes the cut though. With flying colors.
The colors, man... lookit the colors.

13-Aug-2007: Hello
at long last after two weeks off from
updating my glistening blue chunk of webby
art craps! Sorry I've been away. I'm going through yet another relocation,
this time to Canton, CT.
I'm closing on my condo this month, and staying with friends in the
meantime.
Being
technically homeless has been
a particular challenge this month too, because my computer rig set is
up on rickety TV trays in my hosts' spare bedroom,
and I've spent two out of the past three weeks working 12-16 hour days
on a top-secret TV pilot for National Lampoon.
It's a 6-minute long animation which is not based on any of my other
projects -- I know a lot of folks were hoping for RAB
to appear on television someday.
Still, it's been great working with them & they seem to like my
stuff,
so whatever happens I'll be in their list of contacts, and they in my
list of clientele, so I've got that going for me,
which is nice.

31-July-2007: Today Tom
Fulp over at Newgrounds added a snazzy COLLECTION PAGE
for Sci-Fi Guys. Thanks Tom!
There's
also something very, very special newly squished into the ByteSize
Player on the Newgrounds
Homepage, but only if, I dunno, you wanna see a new little
mini-animation with the Retarded Animal Babies
and Harry Potter!!
