23-Mar-2008: HAPPY EASTER. Eggs. Resurrection. I don't get what's so hard to understand about why we have Easter eggs! And the rabbit is, well... it's the animal they used to use to determine a pregnancy, and that's kind of a renewal type thing. And, er... the chocolate, is... made of BEANS, and beans grow out of dirt, and dirt is... You know, I'm not sure about the chocolate.

13-Mar-2008: So we're putting Plastica back together... a silly '80s tribute project which may or may not end up being a high-profile rock, New Wave, comedy, wigs 'n whiskey kinda thing in the Connecticut area (i.e., Connecticut). And you are hereby cordially invited to check out the new PLASTICA MYSPACE PAGE and "friend" us.
Today we've had the audacity to upload four pretty idiotic outtakes from last night's practice that probably should ever be heard, by anyone, ever. Firstly, we don't have a singer yet, so it's all instrumental. Second, I think Rolling Rock put crack in their beer this week because we decided speeding up both of our Journey songs was a fantastic idea. The image at left here is of course a screencap of the MySpace player, and it couldn't say it any more perfectly: "Please Stop Plastica playing" when our insanely fast "Don't Stop Believing" cover is foolishly selected! And then there's Master of Puppets which we always like screwing with. So yeah, it's all pretty zany stuff & I'm happy to say that we are having ridiculous fun with Plastica again. Wheeee!

It's called "Master of Pop Tarts," and it features me, my brother Steve, and friend Bones, playing my nieces' toy instruments to thoroughly insult Metallica with our clumsy-yet-tight version of "Master of Puppets."

1-Mar-2008: Here's another synthy YouTube video! This one is a straight-ahead song performance of an old (1994) original tune I wrote called "Visceral", which unfortunately doesn't appear on either on my Parallax CDs. Too bad because it's a mind-twister. I just recently rediscovered it, actually, and it took more than a little while to remember all the crazy-ass solos, believe you me...
