Weaker, diseased offshoots of the Troll, these awful mutants are truly horrid dungeon-dwellers. Their noxious breath acts as a STINKING CLOUD spell in all respects (15' diameter), and carries the common affliction of the black plague (save vs. Poison). Characters with the plague are incapacitated and very contagious with fever for two weeks before finally succombing to the disease, unless CURE DISEASE is cast upon them. The Plague Troll has extra-sharp, short-sword-like claws (1-10 damage each), and an exceptional Trollish ability to REGENERATE (4hp per round). They also have 60' INFRAVISION.
