| Here's the absolute cheapest way (got $200-$300?) to get an Oberheim in your studio. This unassuming little
rackmount first appeared on the market in 1987 and didn't go away until 1994. It doesn't do much except make noises. Lots and lots of noises: 1,000, as the
name suggests. No effects, and programming, no patch storage. Just noises. Some good ones, some blah ones. It'll take you
all day to find the one you want; trust me! I prefer tweaking to button mashing, so I'll probably sell this thing eventually.
