UPDATE 10/15/2019: Sigh... this was such a fun game to play back when "Shockwave" games were a thing. I had a truly great time creating the 8-bit art for it as a fun hobby back in 1998. It was programmed in Macromedia Director by my friend Greg Izzo. "Hextris" is a game of hexominoes, otherwise rather similar to the quadromino piece manipulation in classic Tetris. Most games were a clunky mess; the game was almost unplayable except for lots of special pieces to help clear things up a bit. As of the twenty-teens, this format of games is a long-forgotten relic, but perhaps your browser might still be able to play the game on Greg's homepage, RandomNeuralDischarge.com. As long as he keeps hosting it, I'll keep directing to it. 100+ hours of work on this thing sorta demand it.
